This couple witnessed me "rapping" like snoop dog one night at The Freehouse over some bevies.  I guess you do what you gotta do to get people to remember you.  ;-)

Yamaha Pianos

It's really neat watching someone work their own craft.  Roger from Yamaha pianos is quite the character and I enjoyed "hearing" and "watching" him work.  He is truly amazing at what he does.

Dreams & Lessons

I was ever so glad to wake up this morning and find out that last nights dream, was just in fact... a dream.
Dreams are hard to understand sometimes.  I have to wonder what possesses a person to conjure up  awful & weird situations??!?!????? I don't know.  Maybe there are hidden lessons to be learned? It's all a mystery really.
Last nights dream, I found myself driving on a highway.  Happy. Content.  Just driving. Along comes a HUGE, wide and tall wood green gate with the doors closed.  I literally slammed on the breaks.  (I think I may have jolted in my sleep) I could remember having feelings in my mind that I should stop and open the gate so that people wouldn't slam into it going 100 miles an hour. But the car beside me went around the gate.  I paused. What should I do?  Should I follow the other cars... or open the gate??  Deep down I KNEW I should open the gate...  But I followed the other cars and went around the gate.  So I proceeded to drive around the gates only to find police cars with their radar guns pulling over people that went "around the gate" rather then "opening" it for people!  Ugh!!  They nabbed me!...They pulled me over and gave me a ticket for $480 bucks.  I freaked out. Cried.  Thought about all the things I could have bought for $480 bucks.
Then I woke up.
Yayayaya! It was only a dream!  THANK goodness!  Waking up with a feeling of relief is FANtastic.
My lesson learned from this dream?? I guess it would be drive carefully, listen to yourself and don't copy other drivers on the road. lol

Take The Time

You deserve to be pampered.  Right???  Yes.
My trails brought me to Oshun House Medspa & Studio.  Although I was there to technically "work"...  I still felt 100% relaxed walking through the doors.
I think everyone deserves to be pampered once and awhile.  Myself included.  This shoot inspired me to spend a little time in a spa.  Rejuvenate.... Rest. ...etc. ...etc ... etc :-)

My little mascot Emerson.  She is perfectly cute.  Perfectly sweet and just perfect.  I love taking her photo and she poses SO well for Auntie.  She came to visit me in the studio and I couldn't help but take a few photos.

This couple is expecting their 1st baby.
He brought the paper to the shoot... expecting to read while we take photos.  Little did he know...

Almost Hitched

They will be married in July this year!
I can tell already this couple is perfect.  She loves shoes...and he doesn't say anything when she buys them.  Perfect.  ;-)

Saturday Morning Coffee Talk

People ask how I stay organized.  Well... I don't.  Well I do. himmmm.  ;-)
I have to say there IS a happy medium.  I still resort to my big black day planner book.  It's huge, it's massive... and it takes up a large portion of my purse....but hey, it works for me.  It keeps me organized.  Life as we know it gets busier every day. You gotta stay sane.  For me, it's writing everything down that I need to do. My life lately is a post-it note zone. Remember to slow to 60 km in the Orange Zone when passing workers and equipment. Construction and maintenance zones can be dangerous. Reduce your speed, use extra care and save lives. ;-)

You need to exercise your body and you need to exercise your mind. There is nothing wrong with a reminder of what you are grateful for. Write it down, add to it.  Shawn is already at 50. He is one grateful man. I am grateful for him.  

This task is all part of my plan to stay healthy and organized.

I Love Coffee

Dear Flu Bug. You Suck.

I'm not the type of person who likes getting sick.  In fact, I don't really know anyone that likes getting sick... so I'll just put this out here: Flu bug… you suck. 

This little flu bug has slowly gone though my entire family... and I deep down knew it was going to hit me.  Sure enough... last night. It hits. I believe life is full of experiences.... but last night is one of those experiences... you don't want or need.

Having a full day of photo shoots booked... for the 1st time in my career, I actually missed showing up for a shoot.   For this... I’m truly sorry.   

I hope to get back on my feet after a day of rest. Life goes on.

Flu bug… you suck.

I love dogs.  More importantly... I love when dogs come for a photo shoot.  "Jasmine" was a perfect addition to this pregnancy shoot.
