I always enter a family shoot (with little kids)... knowing a few things:
The poses might not be 100% perfect (they are perfectly imperfect)
You gotta "take" whatever works (moments are what its all about)
Everyone might not be looking (and thats okay)
Candid is better (cute and candid is my motto)
Sometimes the shirts come off (hey lately, its hot out) lol
Snack breaks are a must (all models need a break...even kids)
...And in the end, being together is what its all about. ;-) Laughing, smiling.... Just being together.
